The cheapest Kling 3.0 setting at list price is Standard with audio off at $0.084 per second, which makes a 15 second clip $1.26. With audio on, Standard is $0.126 per second, and Pro at 1080p is $0.168. Those prices were checked on October 29, 2026. After the tier and the audio setting, the provider is the next biggest lever.
Kling 3.0 price by provider
| Tier | Kling API | fal.ai | wiro.ai | Sume | Replicate | Higgsfield |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard 720p, audio off | $0.084 | $0.084 | $0.084 | n/a | $0.168 | $0.084 |
| Standard 720p, audio on | $0.126 | $0.126 | $0.126 | n/a | $0.252 | n/a |
| Pro 1080p, audio off | $0.112 | $0.112 | $0.112 | $0.112 | $0.224 | n/a |
| Pro 1080p, audio on | $0.168 | $0.168 | $0.168 | $0.168 | $0.336 | $0.168 |
| Pro 4K mode | $0.42 | $0.42 | $0.42 | n/a | $0.42 | $0.42 |
| Turbo 720p | $0.112 | $0.112 | $0.112 | $0.112 | n/a | $0.112 |
| Turbo 1080p | $0.14 | $0.14 | $0.14 | $0.14 | n/a | $0.14 |
3 providers (Kling API, fal.ai, wiro.ai) list the same Standard 720p rate with audio on: $0.126 per second. Replicate lists $0.252, which is 2x as much for the same tier. For Pro 4K mode, every provider that lists it charges the same rate. When providers tie on price, choose on the things that are not on the price page: rate limits, billing in your currency, support, and how you want to be invoiced.
Going direct to Kling is one option. Its price table bills in units at $0.14 per unit, so Pro with audio is 1.2 units per second and Standard with audio is 0.9. It matches the aggregators at list price, so you save nothing on the rate by going direct. What you gain is a direct account with the maker.
Settings that cut the bill
- Turn audio off when you do not need it. On Standard, audio off is $0.084 against $0.126 per second with audio on. On fal's endpoint the audio option defaults to on, so you pay the higher rate unless you switch it off.
- Skip voice control unless you use it. fal lists a higher rate when voice control is used with audio: $0.154 per second on Standard and $0.196 on Pro.
- Start on Standard. Pro costs a third more per second at the same audio setting. Use Standard for drafts and move only the keeper to Pro.
- Ask for the seconds you need. Kling 3.0 takes any whole number of seconds from 3 to 15, so request 7 seconds, not 10, if 7 covers the shot.
- Keep the prompt tight. A prompt can run to 2,500 characters, but a clear short one wastes fewer retakes.
What a real run costs
A 15 second Standard clip with audio off is $1.26, and with audio on it is $1.89. A 15 second Pro clip with audio on is $2.52. A 30 second Reel built from two of those Pro clips is $5.04 for one take, so budget for retakes. Our article on Reel costs works through that math across models.
Cost of one clip by length
| Tier | 5 seconds | 10 seconds | 15 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard 720p, audio off | $0.42 | $0.84 | $1.26 |
| Standard 720p, audio on | $0.63 | $1.26 | $1.89 |
| Pro 1080p, audio off | $0.56 | $1.12 | $1.68 |
| Pro 1080p, audio on | $0.84 | $1.68 | $2.52 |
| Pro 4K mode | $2.10 | $4.20 | $6.30 |
These are single generations. A Reel of 30 seconds needs at least two Kling 3.0 clips, since the longest is 15 seconds, and every retake is a new line in this table.
A checklist before you press run
- Pick the tier. Standard for drafts, Pro when the shot is final, 4K mode only when the delivery needs it.
- Set the audio option on purpose. Do not rely on the default.
- Set the duration to the shortest whole number of seconds that covers the shot.
- Check the provider's rate for that exact tier on its pricing page, not just the headline number.
- Run one clip, look at it, and only then queue a batch.
A note on Kling 4.0
Kling's own site now leads with Kling 4.0. The pricing tool lists it alongside 3.0, so you can compare the two before you commit to either.
Raytake is a Mac app that makes short videos through a chat with an AI assistant. It shows each model's price before it runs, and it asks you to approve still frames before paying for video. You see the per second rate above before any money is spent.
